Work continues on archives

Helen uncovered some old sheet music while looking through boxes of archival materials. Once sorted, organized and cataloged, most of the library’s historical materials will find a home in our new Gerald C. Thayer Memorial Genealogy and Local History Room.

Genealogy classes continue remotely with Zoom

The Lakes Region Genealogy Interest Group will continue its classes utilizing Zoom technology. The next meeting is on Thursday, April 23rd at 6:30 pm. The subject will be “Genealogist’s Google Toolbox.” It will feature a video on using GOOGLE tools in research. Please contact Dee at for registration and Zoom participation information.
