Family Search

Family Search is maintained by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and provides an online search of the millions of names in its International Genealogical Index.

Wolfeboro Public Library is an affiliate library, which means that the library can provide access, via in-person visits, to FamilySearch’s digital genealogical collections that are otherwise only accessible at a family history center.

 

Heritage Quest

HeritageQuest Online provides access to U.S. Census indexes and digitized images, and more than 25,000 family and local histories, is available to many individuals.  CLICK HERE FOR Remote Access using your library card number.

 

 

Ancestry Library Edition

AncestryLibrary.com provides access to more than 1 billion names, more than 3,000 databases, and the federal census 1790-1930.

Grave Finder

Find the graves of ancestors, create virtual memorials or add photos, virtual flowers and a note to a loved one’s memorial. Search or browse cemeteries and grave records for every-day and famous people from around the world.

 

 

Wolfeboro Post Cards

In 2012 Dave & Christie Bowers donated their collection of  New Hampshire postcards (circa 1900-1930) to the Wolfeboro Public Library.
